Initiated by Robert Schneider, now retired from VCU, Influencing State Policy has provided services and resources to social work educators and others over the last twelve years. As the organization transitions to its next stage, it is time to ask members to assess its current functioning and suggest future directions to meet emerging needs. We would appreciate your assistance in completing the questionnaire available at the link below. We have set up the questionnaire to receive responses anonymously, although please feel free to email either Kathy Byers or Sally Brocksen to volunteer to assist in planning new services and resources. The questionnaire will take you about 20-25 minutes to complete. Thank you so much for providing your input to our planning process.
Lobby Day: check with your state NASW chapter to organize or attend a lobby day. This is a great opportunity for practitioners, students, and instructors to influence state policy!
